Label TextWhen Marden was in graduate school at Yale, Jack Tworkov and Vincent Longo were among his teachers, and his fellow students included Robert Mangold and Richard Serra. Marden used peculiar, muted colors to delineate simple, usually rectangular compositions. Beginning with elementary geometrical forms, Marden applies muted colors, leaving visible changes of mind and brushstrokes.ProvenanceHarcus Krakow Rosen Sonnabend Gallery, Boston, MAOn View
