Label TextThis work was formerly attributed to Allegretto Nuzi. Although the artist has not been identified precisely, stylistic qualities place him in Florence, probably in the second half of the fourteenth century.
This panel, which originally may have had a pointed top, appears to have been cut down slightly at the left and bottom. Presumably, the panel served as a right-hand wing of a triptych.ProvenanceJohn Levy Gallery, New York NYOn View
