DescriptionShort cylindrical nech, ovoid body,strap handle, trefoil lip, and small foot. Body, handle, foot are dark blue. Characteristic 2-color marvered zig-zag decoration and unmarvered yellow threads around the lip and foot, deep blue, light blue, and yellow glass (sandcore vessel). Broken, large loss on one side. Opaque dark colors suggest imitation of Egyptian vessels though this is a new non-Egyptian form. 6th-4th century BC. From the Troad.
