DescriptionShort cylindrical neck, ovoid body; strap handle, small foot. Opaque dark colors suggest imitation of Egyptian vessels, though this is a new Egyptian form. Body, handle, foot are dark blue. Characteristic 2-color marvered zig-zag decoration and unmarvered yellow threads around the lip and foot. Technique: sandcore vessel. From the Troad.
