DescriptionGlobular body with flaring lip and two strap handles. Round-bottomed shape makes it closer to one of the common New Kingdom sandcore vessels, the lentoid flask, than to contemporary Greek pottery forms. Unmarvered yellow thread encircles rim; light blue and yellow mavered zig-zags and bands. Deep blue, light blue, and yellow glass. 6th-4th century BC. From the Troad.
