DescriptionNude woman, on bended knee, balanced on a block. Figure extends her right hand, with the other arm falling between her legs. Thing, flat base is part of the cast. Dark patina. Body has a rough, matte surface, emulating stone, while the base is much more smoothly finished.
ProvenanceManuel and Ina Berman, purchased from an unknown Paris gallery, probably in the early 1960s; bequeathed to the Worcester Art Museum in 2006.
