Label TextIt is believed that Benjarong ware was at first produced exclusively for the Siamese royal household using motifs developed in Siam. In the 19th century this ware became more widely available and sometimes featured both Chinese and Siamese decorative elements. Lidded jars were used for both food service and cosmetics; this one was purchased by the donors in Bangkok.On View
