DescriptionEach of six lames. Irregular trapezoidal form, rounded lower lame, medial ridge. Articulating on a single leather, and sliding rivets on outer edges. Lower terminal lame is inwardly rolled and roped with single file marks, while the others are lightly embossed and decorated by tightly spaced pairs of file marks. Inner face perimeter fitted with modern leather lining strap held in place by seventeen dome-headed brass rivets. The upper edge of each lame has a V-shaped nick at the light medial ridge. Upper lame fitted with three double D-ring buckles.Both tassets have been reworked in places with repousee to restore damaged decoration.
