MarkingsStamped on the fall, at the point, is a maker's mark consisting of an upper-case "C" surmounted by a cap-like crown, the whole within a shield-shaped framing. To the left of this, near the outer corner, is an indistinct mark that appears to be a star beneath an acorn (?). See photo in digital file. On the terminal lame of the neck defense, to the left of center, is struck "IH7." Punched on the underside of the fall, the lames of the neck defense, and inside each cheekpiece are six dots in two rows of three each. The inside of the skull is painted in thin white paint "SZ" with "56" and "I" under that. To the right of this is the number "93." by a different hand, in red. Note that depending on orientation, the "SZ" can be read as "ZS", which in white paint is a typical mark of the Zeughaus Solothurn.
