DescriptionTwo grooves in top face, also pierced with a hole. Forward beak of round cross-section, rectangular rear beak. Pillar bears incised geometric decoration. Above the basal spike there is a three-tier square collar on the pillar, also with incised geometric decoration. One corner of the top tier has broken off; this is evidently working-life damage, as the broken surface is well worn and has a uniform patina with the rest of the object.ProvenancePurchased by the Museum on February 24, 1932 from Sumner Healey (NY) Collection transfer from Higgins Armory, January 2014.
