DescriptionIdentical in all respects to HAM# 480.a with which it forms a pair.
Polished iron. Rounded frame, beaten up into boxish suspension loop. Sides expand downwards into low, rounded scallops, & are thrice fluted, each set off by low rib within set of incised narrow lines. End of each flute roughly pierced with circular hole. Open, oval tread flattened at side, & spanned by pair of quadrangular-section bars. Outer elements are dentated above. Rear element drawn into low cusp. Presently linked with HAM# 480.b via riveted, modern leather strap.
