DescriptionBronze. Flattened & notched at one end with three short stubs (broken?). Shank square in section near flattened end, becoming cylindrical, with rounded end opposite. Decorated with transverse incised lines near flattened end.
ProvenanceAzeez Khayat (dealer), 366 Fifth Ave., N.Y. purchased by John W. Higgins from Anderson Galleries, N.Y., Sale 2257, April 11-12, 1928, Lot 405. Price paid for lot. Given to the Armory January 8, 1947. Purchased from Higgins Armory, June 2014.
