DescriptionCurved single edge steel blade with flat back & rudimentary false edge. Both faces with broad shallow fuller at back, below ricasso to false edge. Brass half-basket hilt with deep sheet-brass guard on obverse, riverted to flange on counter & knuckle guards. Phrygian helmet pommel. Wooden grip wrapped in black leather having lost wire wrap.
