DescriptionSteel, for left hand of youth. One piece tubular boxish cuff once riveted closed at inner wrist; now held with modern screw. Slightly flared cuff with barely preceptible point at top center, medial rib. File-roped edge with row of steel-domed rivets in recessed band. Cuff also flares out slightly at thumb. Thumb defense lost, once fitted to bracket-cut edge of cuff at inside wrist. Slight medial ridge leading up the middle of the thumb. 3 metacarpal lames, with steel-domed rivets & modern screws at sides. Knuckle plate is boxed over knuckles & shaped to bases of fingers. The base of each finger is bracket-cut, with small flattened steel rivets for lost finger scales. Lames each have incised line along the proximal edge.
