DescriptionShoulders are for a "pot lid" armor, with triangle embossed on back and side plates. Backplates from another armor. The center row has one decorated plate each at top and bottom, in a typical Ottoman style. Mail mostly of butted links, with some riveted or solid. Leather is modern, a number of the plates and most of the mail appears modern. The side plates of the back are modern. There are riveted repairs on some of the lamellae.ProvenanceAngelo Peyron (Florence, Italy) purchased by the Museum on November 6, 1954 from Savoy Art and Auction Galleries (NYC), sale no. 450, lot no. 832.
