DescriptionGold-painted stars on a dark-painted field. Gold paint also present on the guttered edges around the neck, armholes, and tassets, as well as around the tasset hinges. Gold "sun" at the point of the belly. Rivet heads also bear traces of gold paint.
ProvenancePurchased by John W. Higgins on May 16, 1930 from Cyril Andrade, Ltd. of London, his no. 122. Given to the Museum on December 15, 1931. Collection transfer from Higgins Armory, January 2014.
