The Worcester Armory, designed by the Worcester firm Fuller & Delano, was constructed on land acquired from Stephen Salisbury III. Situated on the corner of Salisbury and Grove Streets, the armory commands attention through both its location and scale. Its castellated style recalls medieval buildings of Europe. The central tower was removed at a later date.
