DescriptionPhotograph from an album of 208 cyanotypes on cream wove paper. The Worcester Art Museum represented a major commitment to the arts for Stephen Salisbury III and other community leaders. Salisbury donated both the land and the funds for the original building, which was designed by Stephen C. Earle and completed in 1898. Frederick Coulson was able to observe the construction of the building from his parents' home. In 1904 Coulson was invited to participate in the Museum's first annual exhibition of photography.
