DescriptionCoffee cup of demi-tasse size, with horizontal bands of light blue background alternating with gilded decoration of garlands and rinceaux and white background band with polychrome floral garlands. Crossed L enclosing date letter Y (?) (1776). Above, the mark (an oval with an accent above. All above the letter F for the painter of birds and ornament Fallot (active 1773-1790). To the right of this the letters IN.ProvenanceTheodore T. and Mary G. Ellis, Worcester, MA. Collection Paul Kron #31, 1926. Ellis Collection, 1940.
