DescriptionTrembleuse of bleu-du-roi ground. Cover and cup each have one reserve, all oval, of marine and harbor scenes. Border have gilt rinceaux. Gold band on the inside. Finial of the cover is a gilt apple with leaves. Crossed L having date letters EE(1782) (or possibly CC-1780). The letter M on the right for the painter of marine and military scenes Morin (active 1754-1787). Below the letter B for the gilder Boulanger Pere (act. 1754-1784). There is also a blue dot on the rim of the saucer.
