DescriptionWhite ground with border of blue cornflowers and leaves wound around a red band and a garland of red berries and leaves wound around a blue band. Center medallion of blue cornflowers and leaves wound around a red band at whose center is a pink rose with leaves. Crossed L, enclosing date letters MM (1790) above letters fx, for painter Fumez, Specialist in flowers (active 1777-1804). Incised mark:ProvenanceTheodore T. and Mary G. Ellis, Worcester, MA.
