DescriptionBleu celeste ground having white oval reserve in which are polychrome flowers. Reserve surrounded by stylized palm leaves and flowers in gilt. Upper rim of sauce boat is of an undulating nature with gold band. The two sides of the vessel join at an edge formed by an eight-part division of the blue ground, similar to a fringe, with a gilt dot at the center of each. Crossed L enclosing date letter E (1757) above a fleur de lis for the painter of flowers Taillandier.
