DescriptionBleu lapis ground with gold border on top and bottom. Has large cartouche of white ground containing 2 polychrome birds in flight, one holding a branch with leaves and red berries or flowers. Cartouche surrounded by stylized, gilt palm leaves with small areas of gilt trellis work. Crossed L enclosing date letter D (1757) surmounted by a lozange symbol of the painter of birds Tabary (active 1754-1755).
