Label TextBenson worked for the London tabloid "Daily Express" when he was assigned to travel with the Beatles, and took the job grudgingly. Benson was with the band in Paris after a show at the Olympia, when they heard that their song "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" was number one in America, and they had been booked on "The Ed Sullivan Show" in New York. Benson encouraged the celebratory pillow fight that went from room to room. He traveled with the Beatles on their first American tour in 1964.On View
