DescriptionStout thrusting tip of square cross-section, swelling slightly just below the point. Long, slightly convex axeblade. Lightly curved fluke. Round staff, shaped at top to accommodate 4 langets (only 2 are actually present).
ProvenancePurchased by John W. Higgins on April 14, 1930 from March Brown, Surrey, England. Given to the Museum on July 1, 1954. Collection transfer from Higgins Armory, January 2014.
