Markings"1360" in white paint on lower left interior; brass tag with stamped "E 1360" secured to left stud on chest. These are evidently the Eugen armory number.

DescriptionBlack-painted steel, of proof, for cuirassiers. Slab sided & long, with squared medial rib full length. Deep arm & neck openings, the latter quite narrow, & all with outward flange. Perimeter pierced with lining holes. Proof mark just to left of medial rib at mid-height. Pair of flattish domed studs for shoulder straps, & "L"-shaped hooks at side below. Outturned basal flange, curving down towards rounded notch at fork.
