DescriptionOf robust steel. 3 lames working on sliding rivets on outside, leathers in center and inside. Heavy lining leather around the perimeter. Restored buckles on leather straps. Roped edges symmetrical on a centerpoint.ProvenancePurchased by John W. Higgins on January 18, 1928 from Sir Joseph Duveen (NY), their no. 28258. Given to the Museum on March 21, 1928.
