DescriptionWide, straight scabbard of 2 planks of wood, lined with a fibrous material. Covered in casing of black leather, sewn closed along one edge. Ends with deep, bronze mounts, scalloped & notched along edge, near which inscribed with close-set pair of narrow lines. Basal mount with medial trilobate terminal.
