DescriptionSteel. Wide shallow gutter-shaped plate slightly point at rounded end. Open end at wrist with slightly outturned edge. Border decoration of oval cartouches, filled circles, filled with stylized flowers (carnations? poppies?). Decoration dominated by sun-face in gold koft-gari above trailing vines arising from crowned oval supported by 2 winged figures, each with 1 foot on 2-handled amphora. Background is chiseled floral motif. Lightly quilted lining held by linen tape with brown (?) chevron design.
