DescriptionSteel, composite, mitten & for left hand. 2-piece tubular cuff riveted at sides, slightly elongated & rounded for point of elbow. Edge turned inward, bordered by row of steel-domed rivets with remnants of leather. 8 metacarpal lames notched at medial line held with steel domed rivets at each end. Knuckle-plate embossed for knuckles with chiseled decorative lines. This & 2 lames below are deeply scalloped along edges, next lame with triangular recesses between fingers. Final 2 lames are slightly convex. Terminal rivet- filled, narrow, recessed band & hollow-flanged edge. No thumb defense.
