DescriptionLeather & iron with black lacquer. Domed, one-piece fluted & ribbed skull with un-ornamented "tehen." Integral, downturned peak. 4-lame neck defense of lacquered iron, most lacing lost, defense dipping as it deepens to mid-width.
ProvenancePurchased by the Museum on 7 March 1934, from Mr. Robert T. Hatt (New York City), as part of suit HAM# 2046.1-7. Paid $35.00 for lot. Mr. Hatt stated he purchased the suit in Paris, France. Collection transfer from Higgins Armory, January 2014.
