DescriptionPlated steel & gently curved for saber. Obverse face engraved with 2 groups of scrolled, leafy tendrils, that closest to mouth also with group of martial trophies. Cast silver openwork appliques at drag & near mouth. Latter with pair of suspension rings. Motifs are symmetrical on both faces, & consist of lozenge strapwork & leaved projections.
