DescriptionConsisting of shallow, circular mainplate connected to 6 trapezoidal, triangular and irregularly rectangular subsidiary plates via sections of large mail links. Center of mainplate is circularly raised & bordered by radiating shallow narrow bands. Near top center of mainplate is stamped "tamga" mark. The mail is heavy, alternating riveted and solid links. There are 4 empty rivet holes in the top plate.
ProvenanceAlbert R. Louis (NY) purchased by John W. Higgins on February 22, 1927 from Walpole Galleries (NY), their no. 155. Given to the Museum on December 26, 1946. Collection tranfer from Higgins Armory, January 2014.
