DescriptionComposite spear. Iron. Leaf-shaped blade of hollow ground lozenge section with strong medial rib on both faces, extending to reinforced point. Molded shoulders, curving into balustered socket of 2 stages with well-turned moldings between. Basal knob into which is fitted bamboo staff, itself mated by scarf joint to an associated circular section wooden staff with brass butt cap.
